Ithaca/School of Homer:

On the Wednesday we will visit the neighbouring Homeric island of Ithaca where we will be given a private guided tour by renowned Classicist, Spyros Couvaras, of the archeological site of Odysseus followed by a talk in the School of Homer.
Lunch followed by workshop will be in a local restaurant, returning to Kefalonia in the evening.

The House:

Lime House, Kefalonia, is a 400 year old villa set in private gardens of lush lime, pomegranate and ancient olive trees.

The Location:

On a rural laneway overlooking olive groves and goatherds out to sea but also within walking distance of the charming village of Antipata with its restaurants and wine bar and it is 5 minutes by car from the beautiful Venetian harbour town of FisKardo.

Getting to Kefalonia:

By Air -

From Athens - From Athens there are 3-4 low fares flights a day to Kefalonia with Sky Express and Olympic/Aegean airlines.

Direct From Paris: Transavia Air

Direct to Kefalonia from European cities including London, Manchester, Milan, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, a few German cities and others.

By sea -

Daily sailings (2-3 per day) from Patras on the West coast of mainland Greece to Kefalonia. Also Killini on the mainland daily to Kefalonia and from he island of Zakynthos twice daily which can be reached direct form many European cities.
